We loved our two campsites; they were so peaceful and beautiful, they truly set the stage for spectacular wildlife viewing right from our tents!

The Moremi Game Reserve forms a third of the Okavango delta. One of the most visited areas in Botswana, Moremi consists of mopane forests, acacia woodland and permanent and semi-permanent wetland.
Moremi is prime wildlife area where large herds of buffalo, impala, zebra and other antelope occur, attracting their main predators - lion, leopard, cheetah, and wild dog.
Vast numbers of breeding herds of elephants feed on the mopane belts during the day and scramble for the water in the late afternoon.
Often an excellent photo opportunity when we stop for sundowners at a waterhole or on the edge of the Delta and watch these majestic animals quench their thirst.
