General Information
Best time to come
Winter (May through August) is a good time to visit Botswana, as the wildlife never wanders far from water sources. The days are pleasant but remember it can get cold at night. During the rainy season from January to March huge migrations can be witnessed, and the calving months, November and December are also very special. In general, June, early July and mid to late September are the least crowded times to visit.
